Well what are the main points we are talking about this election? Where Does Dami stand on those?

Lets Get the Stadium Question Over And Done with Shall we…
Short Answer: NO

Longer Answer: My gosh, surely it can’t be just me that is thinking that if we are going to plunge the state into further debt, shouldn’t it be on health care in our electorate?
This feels like such a pandering to an entity that is demanding lots but supporting as minimally as possible. I was never a fan of bullies.

Health Care

Yeah I have actually struggled since i have moved to Tasmania to get AFFORDABLE, EASILY ACCESSIBLE, and SPECIFIC health care in my area. it really feels like the North West coast is screaming out for better quality health care. Whether that be acute, chronic, Mental, or supportive. I would really stand behind this as one of the more bigger priorities.

Native Forest Logging

That’s a big fat YeahNah!

OK a few things here:

given we are trying to find places where we can claw back a deficit, wouldn’t we be saving money if we ended it?

And More importantly…as such a beautiful state that prides itself on its wilderness, isn’t this a bit contradictory to the image we are trying to portray and thus a little bit hypocritical?

Remember I’m a bit of a greenie

Small Business Support

Hey look, as a (Very) small business partner, its always good to see if there are ways that can make what we do as a passion sustainable. Ultimately it is better for the community to have a thriving mecca and a community that can be supported so whatever we can do to help our local small businesses thrive, the better.
Don’t we all love a good entrepreneur story

Salmon Farming
I think we can do without it.
This feels again like pandering to an industry that wants to exploit and pillage for its own gain while leaving little in the way of benefits to the people of Tasmania. The environmental impact is not insignificant.

It’s a bit icky.

The Arts

I’m always one for supporting artists, they are what bring a smile to our face, what help bring us together to discuss. what brightens a place up, what makes us laugh or cry, or elicit any other forms of emotions, what helps us to ponder, to dissect. to support, to grow.

Love the arts! (how many of you are stereotyping right now?)
